Project Overview

This project at the Curragh Racecourse combines timber cladding with slatted shading elements to create depth and variation across the façade. The main cladding is installed using a secret fixed profile, providing a clean and consistent surface across the building.

Shading structures are formed using 66 x 42 battens, creating overhangs that add both visual depth and solar control. The contrast between the solid cladding and open slatted elements gives the building a layered, architectural appearance.

While originally completed in a different timber species, this type of application can now be delivered using Avara™ Prime, Avara™ Clear or Avara™ Character, providing a consistent and durable solution for both cladding and external timber elements.
