Avara™ Timber Cladding – Montenotte Hotel

Project Overview

This architect-designed cliff house uses Avara™ Character with a Barnwood Dark Night finish to create a dark, textured façade that responds to its exposed coastal setting. The brushed finish softens the surface of the timber, adding depth and variation across the boards while maintaining a consistent overall tone.

Avara™ Character provides a more natural, knotty appearance, which works well with darker finishes where variation within the timber is part of the overall design. The cladding reads clearly across the building, with the texture and colour changing subtly with light and weather conditions.
