Avara™ Character works particularly well with textured finishes such as Barnwood, Rift and Yakisugi, where the grain and knots become more pronounced across the surface.

Colour & Coatings

Avara™ Character can be supplied untreated or factory finished depending on the intended appearance and maintenance approach. Left untreated, the timber will naturally soften and silver over time.

Coatings can be used to introduce darker tones, reduce UV weathering, or retain a more controlled finish across the façade.

Profiles

Avara™ Character can be machined into a range of cladding profiles including classic overlap, shadow gap and slatted formats. Profile selection influences shadow lines, board rhythm and the overall appearance of the façade.

On-site Workability
