Avara™ Clear is a high visual grade within the Avara™ cladding system. Boards are selected for low knot content and a consistent grain, delivering a clean and natural timber appearance.
Unlike Avara™ Prime, which uses a laminated vertical grain construction for maximum uniformity, Avara™ Clear retains the character of solid timber while maintaining a refined finish.
Thermally modified for durability
Enhanced stability
Natural grain in appearance
Precision machined In-house
Suitable for fire treatments
Avara™ Clear can be supplied either untreated or factory coated depending on the intended appearance and maintenance approach. Left untreated, the timber will weather naturally over time. Coatings can be used to introduce colour tones or slow the weathering process, allowing the façade to maintain a more controlled visual finish. A range of compatible coating systems are available depending on the desired aesthetic and long-term maintenance strategy.
Colours shown on screen are representative only and may vary depending on screen settings, timber grain and coating application. Physical samples should be reviewed before making final colour selections.
Avara™ Clear can be machined into a variety of cladding profiles including classic, shadow gap and other architectural formats. Profile choice influences board rhythm, shadow lines and the overall character of the façade.
Avara™ Clear machines cleanly and can be cut, drilled and fixed using standard woodworking tools. The boards are easy to handle during installation and allow installers to achieve accurate alignment and consistent spacing across the façade. See the installation page for fixing methods and detailing.
Avara™ Clear can also be used for screening and decking applications where a clean and consistent timber appearance is desired, allowing the same material to continue across multiple elements of a project.
