Avara™ Prime uses a laminated construction to improve stability across the width of the board and deliver a more uniform grain. This reduces movement in service and ensures reliable on-site performance, making it well suited to projects where precision and consistency are critical.
Thermally modified for durability
Laminated for enhanced stability
Vertical grain in appearance
Precision machined in Ireland
Straight boards for easier installation
Avara™ Prime can be supplied untreated or factory coated depending on the visual outcome required. Coating systems can introduce colour tones, slow the weathering process, or provide additional surface protection. The appropriate system will depend on whether the design intent is a natural weathered façade or a maintained architectural colour finish.
Colours shown on screen are representative only and may vary depending on screen settings, timber grain and coating application. Physical samples should be reviewed before making final colour selections.
Avara™ Prime can be machined into a range of architectural cladding profiles including classic, shadow gap and other contemporary formats. Profile selection influences the shadow detail, board spacing and overall rhythm of the façade.
Avara™ Prime is designed for efficient on-site installation. The laminated construction produces straight, stable boards that are easy to align and fix, helping installers achieve accurate spacing and clean façade lines. Boards can be cut, drilled and detailed using standard woodworking tools. See the installation page for fixing methods and detailing.
Avara® Prime is well suited to applications where a consistent, refined finish is required. Typical uses include slatted facades, screening elements, sauna elements inside and out and internal panelling, where clean lines and repeatable board layouts are important.
The laminated format allows these applications to be achieved with a more controlled and uniform appearance across the installation.
